The Glow Light Breakfast Bowl

As the days become warmer and summer approaches I can feel my diet shifting and cravings moving towards lighter foods that are still highly nutritious and beautifying. 

One of my favourite breakfast bowl mixes for when my body is craving a light start but that can nourish and sustain me for a busy morning. The fruits create a vibrant and light feeling in my cells, whilst the cacao and dates energise, and the seed combination grounds.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • One full sweet melon (honey or canteloupe)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • A cup of strawberries⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • A tablespoon of cacao nibs⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • A tablespoon of almonds and sunflower seeds⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 5-8 dates cut into small pieces.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is so yummy and does give me so much energy. I’m usually sustained for 4 hours with this bowl. It does also take some time to eat, but I like to combine it with a little bit of morning reading and researching. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This bowl also makes for a great snack if I have had a more protein-focused breakfast but need something light through the day for energy.
